They have very good support. I love the fact that you are free to adjust the buckles to help with excessive swelling, etc. I purchased a pair for my cousin as well.

I gotten 2 pairsof Santana Aquatherm Fiorina Boot in different colors, both fit from the beginning, no break-in needed. I need a wide and this was one of very few available in my size.
