I needed a that fit high across the instep; i.e., not a ballet style. It is really hard for me to find a dressy ; Ash is more casual, but so comfortable that I am happy with it.

I gotten these to take the place of a pair that I'd originally chosen in store during a visit to New York. The original pair were attractive, comfy and easy to keep clean. They finally, after years of fantastic service, I wanted to replace them with an identical pair. Done!

These are very elegant and classic. it is exactly what I expected. It had a lower heel than most of their other fashions, but it worked out just fine for lots of dancing.
