I ordered it for the way they look and the ease of using a loafer. Casual, but good for work. The material is soft and the Womens Dress Flats is extremely comfortable. I have a high instep, and this Dress Ballet Flats fits great.

I got the Dress Flats in hopes of using it to wear inside. I needed a Dress Flats that would accommodate my orthotics. This Dress Flats fits the bill. My orthotics work remarkably.

I've worn Kate Spade Nicolina and a few other shoes with the same sole design, both lace-up and slip-on, for many years. I estimate 10 pair. They have always been quite comfortable and the sole is much more slip resistant than the material bottoms which come on other dress Dress Flats.
