I was quite disappointed to find that the heels and bottoms were all one piece plastic(or rubber)vs. a material heel and a rubber sole. As you can tell I have a narrow foot so it is not easy to find a good Hiking Shoes with a fantastic fit.

It's my second pair of this style, the 1st set I purchased 10 years ago--they look ratty, but still snug. I've had other styles, but this is my favorite.

The appearance is quite nice, the fit was perfect, and the Hiking Shoes has a nice finish. I like the Columbia Tigertooth extremely much.
