I've worn Converse by John Varvatos Mens Chuck Taylor AS LP High and a few other shoes with the same sole design, both lace-up and slip-on, for many years. I estimate 10 pair. They have always been quite comfortable and the sole is much more slip resistant than the material bottoms which come on other dress Casual Footwear Sneakers.

I was having a hard time finding a pair of Converse by John Varvatos Mens Chuck Taylor AS LP High to fit my left foot. it is a bit larger than my right and needs to be wide...plus.This Retro/Lifestyle Sneakers offered a stretch that made it possible to fit my unique needs with wearability.
