They're true to size, and fit incredibly well and comfortable from day one until you eventually wear them out. But no worries I always have a back-up pair of Dr Martens New Icon 4 Eye Boot in my closet.

I love the Dr Martens New Icon 4 Eye Boot. I have been wearing the shoes for years and have never found an easier Casual Boots to "break in". They were snug the 1st day I put them on.
