I had a set similar to this that finally wore out. These were comfortable from the first day. The elastic gore stretches enough to accommodate the swelling that frequently happens to one of my feet. The swelling does not require a half size larger so this Running Shoes design is perfect.

These are the most comfortable Asics Gel-Kushon I've ever worn. This will be my 4th set. They have a very nice instep that gives support to your feet! I wear them almost everyday- walking, shopping, anytime!
