Have picked up this type of Casual Comfort Shoes for many years. Initially I liked it because it held up well at work. Over time I found the smooth sides to be a much more comfortable fit.

These have the perfect heel height, are snug, and hold up for a couple of years of wear in the office and commuting by air (lots of walking in terminals).

My right foot is half a sizer bigger and slightly larger than my left foot. For years I squeezed my right foot in a smaller Casual Comfort Shoes. While on a trip I stopped in at a shoe store and they (suggested|recommended} that I try the Birkenstock Paris. I got a pair right then and have not on another Casual Comfort Shoes.
