I had a pair similar to this that finally wore out. These were snug from the first day. The elastic gore stretches enough to accommodate the swelling that frequently happens to one of my feet. The swelling does not require a half size larger so this Hiking Boots design is perfect.

This is the most well-fitting Hiking Boots on the market. Since I have very big feet and wear orthotics, it is almost impossible to find the right fit. These Asolo Flame GTX work with my orthotics and are very soft and comfortable. I can wear them all day long.

I've been ordering these Asolo Flame GTX for many years, and am quite happy with their fit and looks. They are far more comfortable than anything else I wore, and feel as good as bare feet. My ingrown toenail problem was gone once I started using this model.
