I had a set similar to this that finally wore out. These were comfortable from the first day. The elastic gore stretches enough to accommodate the swelling that frequently happens to one of my feet. The swelling does not require a half size larger so this Casual Sandals design is perfect.

This is a fantastic Thong Sandals. I have heel pain and can't wear some Birkenstock Women's Sparta. These are very comfy. I will order more in several colors.
