I had to buy some heel inserts to make these Salomon Solaris 2 Mid GTX not slip on my feet, but I was extremely pleased with the way they looked, I did not want to send them back and was happy that the heel inserts did the trick!

These have the right heel height, are comfortable, and hold up for several years of constant wear and traveling by air (lots of walking in terminals).
