They have great support. I am in love with how you are able to adjust the buckles to accommodate swelling of the feet, etc. I bought a set for my cousin as well.

I was surprised how light the Columbia Sportswear Shastalavista Mid Omni-Tech Multi-Sport were. They are very cozy and the soles make no noise when I walk.
