I had to purchase some heel inserts to make these Danner Striker Side Zip II GTX 8 not slip on my feet, but I was really pleased with the way they looked, I did not want to send them back and was happy that the heel inserts did the trick!

I have worn this style of Hiking Boots for years. I have to admit that each time that I buy a pair they feel more and more well-fitting and better made. It almost seems like I am taking walks on a cushion of foam when I wear the shoes.
