I had a pair similar to this that finally wore out. These were snug from the first day. The elastic gore stretches enough to accommodate the swelling that frequently happens to one of my feet. The swelling does not require a half size larger so this Casual Boots design is perfect.

I have worn this Dr. Martens Men's Weston model for at least 15 years. I find it the most comfy Work & Safety Boots I have ever owned.

These have the perfect heel height, are snug, and hold up for a couple of years of wear in the office and commuting by air (lots of walking in terminals).

I am a fan of these Dr. Martens Men's Weston so much I now have them in three hues. They are great for walking and working out. I have a wide foot so I appreciate the Work & Safety Boots Work & Safety Boots better than the closed ones.
